The ddHiFi TC44A is a highly compact, USB DAC and amplifier adapter designed to allow users to connect 4.4mm balanced headphones directly to USB-C (Android/PC) or Lightning (iOS) devices. It is noted for its tiny form factor, high-quality construction, and use of a single CS43131 decoding chip.

The audio decoding chip uses the CS43131, which supports native DSD256 format and PCM decoding up to 2bit/384kHz. When using Apple Music on an iPhone, it can fully decode and play lossless music formats.
ddHiFi’s redesigned second-generation T-shaped Lightning OTG connector boasts optimized circuit layout and improved power supply stability, resulting in more stable output from the decoding chip. The connector is manufactured using powder metallurgy and features dedicated stainless steel reinforcement.
For users of 4.4 balanced interface headphone cables who need to listen to music on their phones but don’t want to connect too many devices, a simple adapter is currently the more ideal solution. Conventional 4.4 peripherals are quite bulky, but the TC44A uses a new manufacturing process to make the 4.4 socket appear remarkably compact.
